Data Analytics Specialist



As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can inform business decisions. You will work closely with various teams within the company to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies
- Clean, organize, and analyze large datasets using statistical methods
- Identify patterns and trends in the data to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs
- Communicate complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner
- Develop visualizations and dashboards to present data insights
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in data analytics and recommend improvements to existing processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQL)
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g. R, Python)
- Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large datasets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
- Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus

Location: Faroe Islands (open to remote candidates)

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
