We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Faroe-Islands. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images in a visually appealing manner for print and digital publications.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with editors, designers, and production managers to understand the layout requirements for each publication
- Use specialized software to format text, images, and other elements according to design specifications
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the publication
- Make necessary adjustments to layouts based on feedback from editors or designers
- Conduct final quality checks before sending files to the printing or digital production team
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Solid understanding of typography, layout design, and print production processes
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction from others

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Faroe Islands. We welcome candidates of any nationality but preference will be given to those who already have their own visa or are eligible for work authorization.
