We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in the beautiful city of Faroe-Islands. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use specialized software to format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in the final product
- Proofread materials for spelling, grammar, and layout errors
- Make necessary corrections or adjustments to ensure high-quality output
- Meet strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to typesetting

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and design elements
- Excellent written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Location:
This position is located in Faroe-Islands. Although nationality is not a strict requirement, preference will be given to candidates already residing in Faroe-Islands.

Experience:
No prior experience is required for this position. However, candidates with previous typesetting experience will be given preference.
