Junior Facade Engineer


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Facade Engineer to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Junior Facade Engineer, you will assist in the design and development of building facades, ensuring structural integrity, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal. You will work closely with senior engineers and architects to create innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on building materials and systems for facade design
- Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with project team members to develop creative facade solutions that meet client requirements
- Perform structural calculations to ensure the safety and stability of facades
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess existing conditions and identify potential issues
- Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to facade design
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and structural analysis software
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to facades
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Faroean language proficiency is a plus)
- Prior experience or internships in facade design is preferred but not required

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.

Location:
This role is based in Faroe Islands. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in Faroe Islands or willing to relocate. However, remote work options can be considered for exceptional candidates.
