Plasterboard Worker



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and other structures. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$. We welcome candidates with or without accommodation arrangements and offer visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard using various techniques such as nailing, screwing, and gluing
- Repair damaged plasterboard by patching or replacing sections
- Apply joint compound and tape to seal joints between plasterboards
- Sand down finished surfaces for smoothness
- Follow safety procedures while working on elevated platforms or ladders

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Knowledge of different types of plasterboard and their uses
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in installation and repair work
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Good communication skills to collaborate with co-workers on projects

Preferred:
- Experience working on commercial or residential construction sites
- Trade school certification in drywall installation or finishing
- Valid driver's license
