Formworker

A construction company in Faroe-Islands is seeking a skilled Formworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and assembling formwork for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and quality in all projects. The Formworker will need to have strong mathematical skills and be able to read blueprints and diagrams. They should also possess physical strength and be comfortable working at heights. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month and visa sponsorship is available for non-citizens. Accommodation will not be provided, therefore this position is suitable for men who are able to arrange their own living arrangements in Faroe-Islands.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and diagrams to determine the specifications of formwork required
- Assemble formwork using various materials, such as timber, steel, or plastic
- Install rebar and other reinforcements according to specifications
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all formwork installations
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work at heights when necessary, following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time
- Communicate any issues or concerns with project managers or supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to read blueprints and diagrams accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
- Knowledge of various formwork materials and assembly techniques
- Experience with rebar installation preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills for working with colleagues and superiors
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
