Vehicle Dismantler

As a Vehicle Dismantler, you will be responsible for carefully and efficiently dismantling vehicles in order to salvage and recycle usable parts. This role requires a high level of physical fitness and attention to detail. You must have experience in automotive mechanics or a related field, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Disassemble vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment
- Identify and remove usable parts for resale or recycling
- Properly dispose of hazardous materials according to company policies and regulations
- Keep an organized inventory of parts
- Perform quality checks on salvaged parts to ensure they meet industry standards
- Assist in loading and unloading vehicles from delivery trucks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in automotive mechanics or related field
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment used in vehicle dismantling
- Ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify usable parts from damaged vehicles
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining an inventory of parts
- Familiarity with hazardous materials disposal regulations is preferred but not required

Location: Faroe Islands (accommodation not provided)

Salary: $1500 per month
