Concrete Worker

We are currently hiring a skilled and dedicated Concrete Worker to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete in various construction projects. This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$ per week. This position does not require prior experience, but experience in the construction industry is preferred. Accommodation will not be provided, so applicants must have their own housing arrangements. A biometric passport is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and setting up formwork
- Mix concrete according to specifications and pour into designated areas
- Smooth and level surfaces using various hand and power tools
- Check for proper alignment and elevation of concrete using levels, rulers, and other measuring tools
- Install reinforcement materials such as rebar or wire mesh as needed
- Operate heavy machinery such as concrete pumps or mixers to transport and pour concrete
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
- Good understanding of construction processes and materials used in concrete work
- Ability to read blueprints or project plans is an asset
- Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in concrete work
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality work within tight deadlines
- Must have a biometric passport for travel purposes
