Metal Worker

A reputable metal works company in Faroe-Islands is seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures such as beams, columns, frames, and stairways
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specific dimensions and materials needed for each project
- Use various tools and equipment including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and bend metal pieces
- Install metal structures on site following safety protocols
- Ensure high quality of work by conducting inspections and making necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools and welding equipment
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Faroese language is a plus)
