Heavy Equipment Operator

We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Faroe Islands. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance and ensuring the safe operation of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks assigned by the supervisor
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damages
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure its proper functioning
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, repairs, and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
