Preservation Architect
We are seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, while incorporating modern design and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on the history and significance of each project
- Creating preservation plans that take into account the building's original design and materials
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of the building
- Overseeing the restoration process, including managing timelines, budget, and resources
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes related to historic preservation
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques
- Proficiency in CAD software and other architectural tools
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: 1500$ per month
Location: Faroe Islands (accommodation not provided)
