Architectural Designer - Faroe Islands



We are seeking an experienced and creative Architectural Designer to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for designing and planning various architectural projects, from concept to completion. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and team members to determine project objectives, requirements, and budget
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary information for project design
- Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Research and incorporate sustainable design principles into project designs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and regulations
- Review and approve construction plans and materials to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Designer
- Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferences:
While not required, the following preferences will be considered:
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices
- Experience working on projects in remote or isolated locations
- Proficiency in additional languages
