Commercial Architect - Faroe Islands


We are searching for a talented and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for creating and designing commercial buildings, such as office spaces, retail stores, and restaurants. You must have a strong understanding of building codes and regulations, as well as the ability to create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in commercial architecture and possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and create design concepts that meet their requirements
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications for commercial buildings
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the smooth execution of projects
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other architectural software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
