Senior Architect
A reputable architectural firm in Faroe Islands is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our team. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable designs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects from concept development to project completion
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their requirements
- Create detailed drawings, models, and presentations using various software programs
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively
- Oversee construction progress and ensure compliance with design plans
- Mentor junior architects and assist them in their professional development
- Stay updated on current trends in architecture and implement new techniques in project designs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Experience with green building practices and LEED certification is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and team members
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings and models
