Fitter Technician (Faroe-Islands)


We are in need of a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter Technician to join our team in the beautiful Faroe-Islands. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment in various industries. Your role will include reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, operating hand and power tools, performing quality control inspections, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or maintenance processes
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
