Fitter - Faroe Islands Contract Position

Our company, a leading industrial services provider, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter for a contract position in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As the Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems on various industrial sites. Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Fitter in an industrial setting
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for international travel

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and conveyor systems
- Read technical drawings and schematics to understand equipment specifications and assembly instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete tasks safely and effectively
- Identify potential issues with equipment or systems before they become major problems
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines
- Adhere to all safety regulations while working on industrial sites

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per week for this contract position. In addition to your salary, we provide accommodation during your time on-site.

Location:
You will be based in the stunning Faroe Islands for the duration of this contract. Contract Details:
