Junior Accountant


We are a growing accounting firm in Faroe-Islands seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and tax returns
- Performing data entry and reconciling bank statements
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assisting with payroll processing and maintaining employee records
- Conducting basic financial analysis for client accounts
- Assisting with year-end audits and tax filings
- Keeping up-to-date with accounting regulations and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Salary: 1600$ per month
