Junior Accountant


We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team in the beautiful city of Faroe Islands. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and journal entries
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely payments
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment discrepancies
- Follow standard accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with accounting software is a plus

We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month along with a free visa and ticket to Faroe Islands. While prior experience is not required for this position, we do expect you to have knowledge of basic accounting principles. Accommodation may not be provided, but we will assist you in finding suitable housing.
