English Language Teacher (Contract) - Faroe Islands


We are in need of a dedicated and passionate English Language Teacher to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a language teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons to students of various ages and levels. This is a contract position, ideal for someone looking to gain experience in teaching while immersing themselves in the unique culture of the Faroe Islands.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic English language lessons to students of different ages and levels
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to keep students engaged and motivated
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and encourages language development
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve their skills
- Collaborate with coworkers to develop lesson plans, activities, and assessments
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in the English language
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics or related field (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is a plus)
- Previous teaching experience is not required but preferred
- Passion for teaching and working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to the unique cultural environment of the Faroe Islands
