Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across long distances, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Drive long distances, often through remote areas and varying weather conditions
- Load and unload goods from the truck using appropriate equipment
- Ensure cargo is secure and protected from damage during transit
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition
- Plan routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to operate various types of trucks and heavy equipment
- Familiarity with basic truck maintenance procedures
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of long haul driving

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

This is a full-time job located in Faroe Islands. Accommodation is not provided.
