Entry-Level Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Entry-Level Cashier to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and providing excellent customer service. This position is ideal for students or those without previous cashier experience as full on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Process transactions using cash registers or other electronic systems
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Scan items, issue receipts, and handle returns/exchanges
- Maintain knowledge of store products to assist customers with inquiries
- Keep checkout area clean and well-stocked
- Follow all cash handling procedures and security policies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (current students welcome)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
