Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a long haul truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods across long distances
- Plan and map out routes to reach destinations efficiently
- Load and unload cargo safely and securely
- Inspect and maintain truck equipment and perform basic repairs when necessary
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a long haul truck driver or similar role
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations in the past 5 years
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Biometric passport for international travel

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month without accommodation. However, we offer competitive pay rates based on experience and performance.
