Cashier in Faroe Islands



We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cashier to join our team in Faroe Islands. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service. This is a contract position without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Ensure correct prices are displayed and charged for all items
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Keep track of inventory levels and communicate with the appropriate departments when items need to be restocked
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cash handling experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills and ability to use a cash register or POS system
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Faroe Islands, a beautiful archipelago between Norway and Iceland known for its stunning landscapes, unique culture, and friendly people. While knowledge of the local language (Faroese) is not required, it would be beneficial for communicating with customers.
