Executive Chef (Faroe Islands)
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in the beautiful city of Faroe Islands. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in international cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and creative menus that showcase local ingredients and international flavors
- Supervise food preparation and ensure high quality standards are maintained
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and caterings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine and ability to create unique dishes
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to relocate to Faroe Islands
