Dietitian - Part Time (Faroe Islands)



Our healthcare facility in Faroe Islands is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition education and counseling to patients, creating personalized meal plans, and monitoring their progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized meal plans based on patient's medical history and dietary needs
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits and provide guidance on food choices to promote overall wellness
- Monitor patient's progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited university
- Proven work experience as a Dietitian, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and medical nutrition therapy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
