Head Chef


As a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations of our upscale restaurant located in the stunning Faroe Islands. Your creativity, passion for food and dedication to quality will ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train, supervise and schedule kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service
- Control inventory levels and costs by monitoring food usage, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Develop new dishes and maintain consistency in the quality of existing dishes
- Manage budget and expenses related to kitchen operations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, international cuisines, and food safety standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month along with benefits such as housing allowance, health insurance, paid vacation time, and opportunities for career growth within our expanding restaurant group.
