The Fine Dining Restaurant in the beautiful Faroe Islands is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with our restaurant manager to ensure that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer demand
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers
- Ensure high quality and timely food preparation for all meals
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures where necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Comply with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Creativity in menu development while also being mindful of budget constraints
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Valid food handling certification
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must be eligible to work in the Faroe Islands
- Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month along with opportunities for growth within our company.
