Contract Radio Technician - Faroe Islands



We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment used for communication purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with radio equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and equipment inventory.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and techniques.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of electronic principles, circuitry, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with various types of radio equipment and their functions.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and lift heavy equipment.

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1500$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Location:
This job is located in the Faroe Islands. Preference will be given to candidates who are already living in or willing to relocate to this location.

Visa and Travel:
A free visa will be provided for non-Faroese candidates. A one-time ticket reimbursement may also be offered upon completion of the contract.
