Warehouse Worker



A warehouse worker is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
- Sort and store items in designated locations
- Accurately track inventory levels and report any discrepancies
- Pick and pack orders for shipment
- Operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred but not required
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking purposes

Working Conditions:

This position is based in Faroe Islands. The salary for this role is 1400$, without accommodation. The working hours may vary depending on the needs of the business, but typically will be Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. However, flexibility may be required during peak seasons or when there are urgent orders that need to be processed.
