Construction Project Manager
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects in Faroe-Islands. This includes planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the construction industry and be well-versed in project management principles. They should also possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Manage on-site personnel and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project timelines
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status
- Identify potential problems or delays and develop solutions to keep projects on track
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the construction industry
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per month. Accommodation will be provided. Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Faroe Islands.
