Construction Manager


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. Your role will involve coordinating with different teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Develop project budgets and schedules
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and safety standards are met
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage project documentation such as permits, contracts, drawings, etc.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health & safety standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in project management software
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this full-time position.

This position is based in Faroe Islands.
