Crane Operator
Location: Faroe Islands
We are hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Faroe Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites or other locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crane operations and safety protocols, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cranes to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Safely maneuver the crane to lift and move materials according to instructions from supervisors or signalers.
- Monitor weather conditions and make adjustments as needed for safe crane operation.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations including logs of materials lifted, equipment used, and hours worked.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid crane operator license or certification.
- At least 2 years of experience operating different types of cranes.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
