Pastry Chef
We are in search of an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and producing a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts for our establishment. Your role will involve overseeing the pastry kitchen, creating new recipes, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and create new pastry recipes
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts
- Oversee daily operations of the pastry kitchen
- Ensure quality control and food safety protocols are followed
- Train and supervise other pastry staff members
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Creative flair for developing unique pastry recipes
- Ability to lead and train other staff members
- Excellent time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
