We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant located in Faroe Islands. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries that will delight our customers' taste buds. Your main responsibilities will include developing new recipes, overseeing the dessert menu, ordering ingredients, and managing the pastry team.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining establishment and possess exceptional baking skills. You should also have strong leadership skills to effectively manage our pastry team and ensure high-quality desserts are consistently delivered to our customers. Excellent time management and organizational skills are also essential to keep up with the demands of a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare delicious desserts and pastries according to the restaurant's standards
- Develop new recipes that incorporate local flavors and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee the dessert menu, making adjustments as necessary based on customer feedback
- Order ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production
- Train and manage the pastry team, ensuring consistent quality of all desserts served
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with budget planning

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Creative thinking with excellent baking skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred
