Surveyor Assistant

We are hiring a Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a senior surveyor and assist with various tasks related to land and building surveys. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting surveys of land and buildings using various tools such as GPS, laser levels, and total stations
- Collect data and measurements accurately and efficiently
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Prepare survey reports and drawings under the guidance of the senior surveyor
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in land or building surveys preferred but not required
- Familiarity with surveying equipment and software is an asset
- Good physical fitness as the job may involve walking long distances, carrying heavy equipment, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Faroese language is a plus)
- Valid driver's license
