Merchandiser - Entry Level (Faroe Islands)


We are excited to offer an entry level position for a merchandiser in our retail company located in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are displayed and organized effectively to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain product displays according to company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock is available on shelves
- Collaborate with sales team to plan and execute promotions and sales strategies
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure product placement, pricing, and signage are accurate
- Monitor competitor activity and make recommendations for improvements
- Maintain excellent relationships with store managers and staff
- Provide feedback on product performance, customer preferences, and market trends

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or degree preferred
- Previous experience in retail or merchandising is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual guidelines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse individuals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus

Salary:
This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1000 per month. We also offer free visa sponsorship and airfare for international candidates.

This position is based in the Faroe Islands, known for its stunning landscapes, rich culture, and friendly community. The candidate's nationality or location is not a strict requirement, but an interest in living and working in the Faroe Islands is preferred.
