Junior Merchandiser



Our growing retail company in the beautiful Faroe Islands is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our team. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, developing, and execution of our merchandising strategies. This is a full-time position with an attractive salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Merchandiser to develop and implement merchandising plans that align with company goals
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product selection and inventory levels
- Assist with creating visual displays and layouts for products in stores or online
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and maintain good relationships
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to meet demand
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Participate in product development meetings to provide feedback on product design, packaging, pricing, etc.
- Help prepare sales reports and forecasts for management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience in retail merchandising is a plus but not required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must have own visa or be eligible to work in the Faroe Islands
