Contract Carpenter in Faroe Islands

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful island nation of Faroe Islands. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications. This is a contract job with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials required for construction
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels, planes, drills, sanders
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as walls, floors, roofs using carpentry hand tools and power tools
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools or power tools
- Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard using paintbrushes or spray guns

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction projects
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with woodworking machines and tools
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Salary: $1400 per month.

Location: Faroe Islands.
