Carpenter (Faroe-Islands)

A reputable construction company in the beautiful Faroe-Islands is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. You will also be expected to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required and methods of installation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Carpenter and possess exceptional carpentry skills.

Responsibilities:
-Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials according to specifications
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
-Select appropriate tools and materials for the job
-Follow safety procedures at all times
-Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines

Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Carpenter
-Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
-Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices
-Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
-Good physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks
-Good math skills for measuring materials accurately
-Great attention to detail
-A team player with excellent communication skills

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Faroe-Islands (without accommodation)

Visa Requirements: Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Faroe-Islands.
