Land Surveyor Assistant

We are in need of an assistant for our land surveying team in the picturesque Faroe Islands. As an assistant, you will work closely with our experienced land surveyors to help accurately measure and map out land areas. This is a great opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist land surveyors in conducting surveys using various tools and equipment
- Record and document data gathered during surveys
- Help create maps and charts based on collected data
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
- Maintain and organize surveying equipment
- Follow safety procedures and protocols while working on site

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. Geomatics, Civil Engineering)
- Previous experience with land surveying or related field is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with surveying tools such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser levels
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data
- Team player with good communication skills

Salary: $900 per month (with accommodation provided)

Location: Faroe Islands (preference given to local candidates)
