Tutor (Faroe Islands)


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tutor to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students of various ages and backgrounds. This position requires a strong understanding of different teaching methods and the ability to adapt to students' individual learning styles. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in tutoring and be able to provide references from previous clients or employers. Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized lesson plans and teaching materials based on individual student's needs
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including but not limited to Mathematics, English, Science, and History
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on their performance
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student's academic progress
- Utilize different teaching methods, such as hands-on activities, visual aids, or technology, to engage students in learning
- Collaborate with other tutors and academic staff to develop effective tutoring strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in tutoring or teaching role
- Strong knowledge of different teaching methods and ability to tailor them for individual students
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for education and desire to help students reach their full potential
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other tutors and academic staff
- Familiarity with technology used in education is preferred

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month along with accommodation for the successful candidate.
