Entry-Level Tutor in Faroe Islands


We are hiring an Entry-Level Tutor to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a Tutor, you will provide academic support and guidance to students of all ages and backgrounds. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month, including accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions with students
- Create personalized lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
- Teach various subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student success

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Previous experience as a tutor or teacher is an asset but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of subject matter being taught
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles

Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching certification or license is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with various teaching methods and techniques for effective instruction
