Mason - Contract Position (With Accommodation and Visa Sponsorship) in Faroe-Islands


We are a construction company in Faroe-Islands seeking an experienced Mason to join our team on a contract basis. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying building materials such as brick, concrete blocks, and structural tiles in order to construct or repair walls, arches, and other structures. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Mason and possess strong knowledge of different construction materials and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine the layout and scope of work
- Measure and cut materials to specific sizes
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Lay building materials using various techniques such as troweling, leveling, and smoothing
- Repair or replace damaged bricks, stones or other building blocks
- Ensure that all work meets quality standards and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Mason in a construction setting
- Strong knowledge of different construction materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent communication skills
