Hotel Sales Manager in Faroe-Islands
We are currently hiring an experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Faroe-Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets for our hotel. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month, and accommodation will be provided.
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will work closely with the hotel's General Manager to identify potential clients, build relationships with them, and negotiate contracts. You will also collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure a seamless experience for guests and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry. You should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong organizational abilities. Knowledge of revenue management systems and proficiency in using sales software are also preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Build relationships with potential clients through networking events, cold calling, and other sales tactics
- Negotiate contracts with clients to ensure profitable business deals for the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Manage a team of sales representatives and provide guidance and support when needed
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and present them to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel sales or related role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Proficiency in using sales software and revenue management systems
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid work permit for Faroe-Islands (or willingness to obtain one)
