The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy at our hotel in Faroe-Islands. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in hotel sales. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans that align with the hotel's overall goals
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, including travel agents, corporate accounts, and event planners
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly basis
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel sales or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of customer needs and market trends
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Danish is an asset)
- Must have own visa for working in Faroe Islands
