Network and Systems Administrator

Our company is seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our organization's network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and security. You will also be responsible for maintaining our systems and servers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Ensure network security by implementing necessary protocols and procedures
- Perform regular system updates and backups
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution
- Install, configure, and maintain servers
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in the field of networking and systems administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in network administration or a related role
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong understanding of network security principles
- Experience with configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls
- Proficiency in server administration (Windows/Linux)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:

- Certifications in networking (CCNA/CCNP) or systems administration (MCSE/RHCE)
- Experience working with cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure/GCP)

We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month without accommodation. This job is open to candidates with their own visa. This is an urgent position so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
