QA Engineer
City: Aarhus, Denmark
As a QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for testing and validating software features, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with developers to find solutions. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality products. This position is based in Aarhus, Denmark with a salary of $1000 per month (without accommodation). Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing test plans and test cases to ensure functionality and quality of software features
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to resolution
- Collaborating with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions
- Participating in design reviews to provide feedback on potential issues or improvements
- Contributing to process improvements for the QA team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Developer
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing as well as automated testing tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with web application testing
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes
