Junior Android Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Aarhus. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our senior developers to ensure the best user experience and performance of our applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about mobile development and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues to ensure optimal app performance
- Ensure code quality through writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile apps to back-end services
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing and publishing apps on the Google Play Store
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Familiarity with Git version control system
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Salary: 1700$
Location: Aarhus, Denmark (Preferably Danish or EU citizens)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
