Painter - Aarhus, Denmark
As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to surfaces, creating a visually appealing and durable result. Your job will involve preparing surfaces for painting, selecting and mixing paints, and applying them with brushes, rollers or spray guns. You will also be expected to have knowledge of different types of paint and their application techniques. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a painter, attention to detail, physical strength and stamina to work on their feet for extended periods of time. Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding and filling cracks and holes
- Select the appropriate type of paint for each project
- Mix paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint with brushes, rollers or spray guns
- Ensure smooth application without drips or streaks
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter using drop cloths or masking tape
- Monitor drying times between coats of paint
- Clean equipment after use and maintain in good condition
- Keep track of inventory levels and report when supplies need replenishing
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Familiarity with painting tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers and spray guns
- Knowledge of different types of paint (water-based, oil-based) and their application techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and carry heavy equipment/materials
- Good color vision for accurate color matching
- Basic knowledge of math for measuring surface areas and calculating the amount of paint needed
- Strong communication skills in order to understand client requests
Salary:
This is a full-time position paying 1400$ per month.
