Preservation Architect
We are a leading architecture firm in Aarhus, seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their cultural and architectural significance is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other experts to ensure proper preservation techniques are used
- Oversee restoration projects, ensuring work is done according to preservation standards
- Conduct research on historical styles and materials to inform restoration work
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Proven experience in preservation architecture or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of historical styles, materials, and construction techniques
- Ability to conduct detailed assessments and create comprehensive preservation plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders
- Attention to detail and meticulousness in preserving architectural elements
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
Location:
This is a contract job located in Aarhus. While preference will be given to Danish nationals or those with the right to work in Denmark, we welcome qualified applicants from all backgrounds.
Accommodation:
